Literature Text
Breathing smoke.
Drinking muck.
Dying planet.
It began with us.
Drinking muck.
Dying planet.
It began with us.

Homeless
Homeless
So bright and warm
Like a candle turned down low.
The smile that can lift up my soul,
The embrace that settled like warm
honey on my heart.
Eyes like the sea, never one color for
long,
Changing like the waves.
Your playful laugh and cocky smirk
The roughness of your calloused hands
Forever gentle on my skin.
The look shared that said everything
Without saying a word.
The loneliness of nights spent far away
Then I hear your voice through the
static
And I am okay again.
And when I see your smiling face, and
feel
Your strong arms around me
I am home.
I thought you said forever,
I thought you said always.
And my heart
Literature
nourishing
Balanced between chopsticks
a pale plump baozi
steamed pillowy soft
slicked with sweat
in the humid restaurant
red and gold lanterns tremble
as waiters scurry passed
the crowded tables
the air pulses
friends catching up
families getting together
couples on dates
the baozi pale skin
meets my lips tenderly
the clouds of bread part
revealing the rich savoury filling
the fragrant five spice and soy sauce
wraps itself around my tongue
i feel stronger than I even have
Literature
the moon
the moon is a cat’s eye, the other closed and winking, a ball bouncing alongside our car, the lens of a microscope for a greater society to peer down at us, an “o” of a word we haven’t finished spelling out yet, the world’s nightlight, keeping us company in the dark. at times it hides, a bit still peeking out, waiting for us to seek it. it becomes just a smile, exuberant and eager as we search. it becomes the closing entrance of a world we cannot begin to dream up.

Wow. Nice! I like how it's short and to the point.
